NIGHT WITH THE STARS PROMThe annual prom is FREE to all special needs residents 16 years of age and older in Florida's Manatee and Sarasota counties.
Registration is required. Night With The Stars Prom Inc. is a nonprofit organization run solely by volunteers. The prom has been held annually since 2009. A profile of our 501(c)(3) charitable organization is available at The Giving Partner. To All who donated to the #GivingChallenge2020 and Night With The Stars Prom Inc. WE THANK YOU! We were able to raise $5930, we cannot thank you enough!! Everything for the prom is donated by companies and members of the surrounding communities, from the red carpet at the entryway to the beautiful decorations, gourmet food, table service, music, and photos! We also have individuals who donate their time and talent by doing hair and makeup for our guests! Volunteers also ensure that suits and prom dresses (with accessories!) are available at no charge for those guests who attend special try-on events, and alterations are also provided. (We are especially in need of formal wear in sizes 16 and up for our female guests and in larger sizes for our gentlemen guests.) Every detail of the prom is provided by the generosity of people in the community through their time and tax-deductible donations of money, goods, and services. Each year this event grows, and all who participate are touched by the experience. This prom is not possible without the generosity of Woodland Community Church, which provides the venue at no cost to us each year!! |
